<\/a><\/p>\nThese builds were completed using the RC4WD Gelande II D110 Truck Kit with Hard Body (Z-K0047)<\/b><\/a> with some serious modifications to reflect the double cab pick up version in the movie.<\/p>\n To make room for the bed and new resin pick up style cab corner, the rear portion of the body had to be cut away and removed. Styrene was used to detail out the bed and new tailgate while the bonnet was modeled to match that of the late model Defenders.<\/span><\/p>\n The chassis was assembled with upgrades, starting with the our RC4WD XVD Axle for Ultimate Scale Yota II G2 (Z-S0823)<\/b><\/a> for durability and their amazing steering angle power. Along with the axle, our RC4WD Scale Steel Punisher Shaft V3 (90.5mm - 110.5mm \/ 3.56\u201d - 4.35\u201d) 5mm Hole (Z-S0826)<\/b><\/a> (2x) were installed to promote smooth rotation. It was topped off by combining our RC4WD Twister Ultimate High Performance Waterproof Servo (Z-E0063)<\/b><\/a> and RC4WD Outcry Crawler Speed Controller ESC with TurboBEC (Z-E0007)<\/b><\/a> to provide optimum functionality in even the wettest of adventures for a foolproof duo!<\/p>\n For the wheel and tire combination, our officially licensed Raceline Monster 1.9\u201d Beadlock Wheels (Black) (Z-W0185)<\/b><\/a> were paired with our RC4WD Fuel Mud Gripper M\/T 1.7\u201d Scale Tires (Z-T0133)<\/b><\/a> (2x). The final product was shipped with our RC4WD Spectre 1.9\u201d Beadlock Wheels (Z-W0230)<\/a> <\/b>and our RC4WD Scrambler Offroad 1.9\u201d Scale Tires (Z-T0144)<\/a><\/b> (2x). Not only do they look great together, the wheels are lightweight and are known to be able to handle a beating! Shown with Raceline Monster 1.9\u201d Beadlock Wheels (Black) (Z-W0185) and RC4WD Fuel Mud Gripper M\/T 1.7\u201d Scale Tires (Z-T0133) (2x)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Afterwards, our RC4WD Metal Light & Winch Bumper for Land Rover Defender D90 (VVV-C0123)<\/b><\/a> was paired with our RC4WD 1\/10 Warn 9.5cti Winch (Z-S1079)<\/b><\/a> to securely hold it in place and our RC4WD Wired Winch Control Unit (Z-S1089)<\/b><\/a> was wired to the remote\u2019s third channel for direct control.<\/p>\n Shown with Raceline Monster 1.9\u201d Beadlock Wheels (Black) (Z-W0185) and RC4WD Fuel Mud Gripper M\/T 1.7\u201d Scale Tires (Z-T0133) (2x)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Once the build started to take shape, the next challenge was the sanding and paint. Each part was removed and after much elbow grease and paint, the truck was ready for the finishing touches and final assembly! <\/span><\/p>\n Our RC4WD Lightforce 240 XGT Light Bar Kit (Z-S0957)<\/b><\/a> and RC4WD 1\/10-1\/14 D90 Small Clear Light (VVV-C0101)<\/b><\/a> (6x) were used in conjunction with our RC4WD LED Basic Lighting System for Mojave Body Set (Z-E0016)<\/b><\/a> to light up and brighten any future night trails. \nNext, our officially licensed ARB 1\/10 Roof Rack with Window Guard for Defender D90 Body (Z-X0009)<\/b><\/a> was added with some extensive modifications including sectioning out and shortening the rack.
