Team Driver Since 2020


My name is Richard, I am 31 years old and I live in Germany. I work as a quality engineer.

I started with the rc hobby in 2009. It officially started with the small remote-controlled vehicles called Xmods. Even then I started to modify the vehicles a lot. I like the scale factor the most. What I like most about the hobby is that you can turn your ideas and dreams into reality. That is also my philosophy.

I prefer to customize vehicles or create special custom vehicles. But I also enjoy driving. I regularly take part in various events such as the ASTS (Austrian Scale Team Series) or the AMS Scale Meeting. I also enjoy going to various model building fairs. My other passion is photography and filming. This year I also started the RC drift hobby.

I can remember my first RC4WD vehicle. That was the D90 Limited Edition in 2017. My favorite memory with the rc hobby is when I won the international RC4WD building competition in 2019. It was a special honor for me when I became a team driver in 2020. Another milestone for me was when I built the RC4WD Giveaway truck.

My favorite RC4WD platform is the Trail Finder 2, it’s so versatile and ideal for custom modifications.

Unfortunately, there are no local hobby stores in our area nowadays, so almost everything has shifted to online shopping.
