Team Driver Since: January 2020
I remember as a kid I built static aircraft models and got my hand on a Tamiya catalogue which I liked to page through. Way at the back was RC kits and always dreamed about them. Fast forward 10 years and I was looking for a hobby, always liking building things and working with my hands I ended up Google’ing RC vehicles and found RC Crawling. I started my research into the hobby and in May 2012 I bought my first RC vehicle which was a crawler. Back then we were at most 10 crawlers in the Western Cape, now we are just over 150. I ventured into all other types of RC, racing, drifting, offroad racing, flying etc. but always enjoyed crawling the most. I enjoy scale crawlers the most, building and driving them equally. One thing I hear from everyone is that the crawling community is just amazing and it is no different here. Seeing how the hobby grew in my area is just great. Since joining RC4WD as a Team Driver in January 2020 my emphasis on scale became even more detailed.
