Hey my names Tristan I’m 35 and I live in Australia I’ve been a rc4wd team driver since 2020. I have a young family and love to get outdoors with them doing 4wding, caravanning and having adventures . I first started with rc cars back 2010 doing on road racing but then found my real passion with the discovery of rock crawlers. First comp I went too I finished dead last and was going to give up but I decided to stick with it and with help from a former rc4wd team driver I slowly made my way up the ranks and enjoyed every minute of it . I’m lucky enough to now help return the favour and help young people excel in the hobby. I find myself going more to the scale building side now and nearly enjoy building more then driving. I started with a ax10 ( which I still have) . I’m really enjoying getting into leafed rc crawlers now and love my chevy k10, being a large hard body it’s great fun to trail drive. Some of my favourite rc memories are making new friends and friends for life !, comping at worlds , winning class 1 at Australian nationals .
